Located at Dorset Innovation Park, the BattleLab is a unique collaboration between Dorset Council and the Ministry of Defence (MOD).
This innovative centre is the first of its kind in the UK.
In addition to the BattleLab Facility, space exists at the Dorset Innovation Park for innovative Businesses to scale. Dorset Innovation Park is developing as an advanced engineering cluster of excellence for the Southwest, building on its strengths in marine, defence, energy, and cyber-security.
The facility is a space for Defence Personnel to come together with problem owners from different areas and specialisations across Defence. MOD and make engagement more accessible. BattleLab seeks to enable exciting and creative collisions and connections, bringing the right minds together to solve challenging problems and emerging threats.

Located at Dorset Innovation Park, The Ministry of Defence has joined forces with Dorset Council and Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership, to open the first of its kind in the UK, the Defence BattleLab.
